PROGRESS TRACKER
A physical device that tracks habits using a state machine architecture — cockpit aesthetics, SPI display, 12V illuminated buttons, and an enclosure fabricated in a cabinet shop. The firmware is documented. The wiring is not.
Software developer, web designer, hardware builder, photographer — and certified tinkerer. I make things that blink, click, ship, and occasionally look beautiful doing it. Fieldwork Studio LLC · Exeter, NH · Est. 2026.
A personnel sheet. Mostly accurate, slightly embellished.
I'm Aaron — a software developer with an MS in Computer Science and a communication degree that taught me how to actually explain what the software does. I move between code, hardware, the web, and the suspiciously interesting places where they all collide.
My favorite kind of project has a breadboard, a deadline, and at least one "wait — what if it could also…" moment. I've shipped web apps, embedded firmware, cockpit-styled control panels with real illuminated buttons, high-end client websites, and the occasional hand-knit textile from a technique older than every OS in the room. I'm also a professional photographer.
I founded Fieldwork Studio LLC in 2026 to put a proper roof over all of it — web design, software, hardware, photography, and the strategy that ties them together. Current flagship engagement: the digital redesign of Concord's Colonial Inn, Est. 1716.

Anonymous employee feedback platform. A triage agent routes signal from noise — 68 tasks planned and all shipped. The part people notice is the silence. The part that matters is what gets through.
A landmark on Monument Square that was present at the American Revolution. Full website redesign, custom theme, booking integration, dining widget, staff content system. July 1 launch. Timed to the 250th.
Five-version state machine architecture, iterated until it sang. A printable reference manual formatted for binding — because real engineers deserve something you can spill coffee on. You can't have it. You can be inspired by it.
A pre-1800 beltless knitting technique — reconstructed from archival footage, animated into instructional GIFs, and processed through a custom ffmpeg pipeline. The technique predates every tool used to document it.

Purpose-built instruments. For the lab, from the lab.
A focus timer with configurable intervals. Designed for soldering sessions, bake times, and deep work blocks. No subscription, no account.
● LIVEHardware-first unit conversion. Resistance, voltage, current, torque, imperial ↔ metric. The things I reach for every single build session.
